“Never Too Late” by Dadria Samuels

All of this violence needs to be silenced.

You sleep and wake up to this reality to find out the world is a tragedy.

Seeing my boyz walking around with guns even though some have sons.

Saying it’s too late, some people are just too fake.

It’s so hard to wake knowing our black lives are at stake.

But we try to cooperate, our lives we can’t even operate.

Sometimes we fail, some even end up in jail.

Walking down these streets seeing my people getting beat.

All of the accomplish that we made, we know it is never too late.
