“It’s a Gun” by Kaitlyn

There’s things people treasure in life

For some it’s a gun

There more dangerous than a pocket knife

See these things are no fun when you have to run

Looking down the barrel

You don’t know how many are in the camber

They are shot like arrows

You hope they are not sober

That there eyes throw off their aim

So that there finger goes off the trigger

Because it is your life they want to claim

That the gun doesn’t get any bigger

You don’t know why it has to be you

You don’t have time to ask why

You hope you are out of view

There’s no reason for you to die

When you think your safe when your really not

That a single shot can stop and man’s heart

That’s the thing that always changes that plot
